Petris Technology Appoints Former U.S. Department of the Interior Executive.

The appointment of Walt Rosenbusch as Vice President of e-Government for Petris Technology was announced today. Mr. Rosenbusch most recently served as Director of the Minerals Management Service at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where he was directly responsible for the management of federal mineral revenue and outer continental shelf (OCS) leasing and administration programs. He was also named the Department of Interior's official representative to the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission in 2000.

Mr. Rosenbusch brings to Petris more than 20 years of public and private sector experience and expertise in all aspects of federal and state oil and gas upstream regulatory activities. Specific areas of expertise include federal and state public land management, federal and state regulatory accounting (tax and royalty), public law and policy development, administrative law, auditing, training and public sector consulting.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (BBA/Accounting), Mr. Rosenbusch also worked as Senior Tax Manager at Ernst & Young's Houston office, where he was practice leader for their Energy Service Team for state and local tax services planning. Other professional positions Walt has held include: Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management at the U.S. Department of the Interior; Deputy Land Commissioner for Energy Resources, Division Director for Royalty Management and Compliance and Royalty Audit Manager at the Texas General Land Office, and Senior Tax Auditor for the Texas Comptroller.
